Public consultations
The Nordic Swan Ecolabel’s environmental requirements for a specific product category are revised every three to five years to reflect new knowledge, product development and improved production processes.
The requirements are prepared in a transparent process consultation with experts from business, environmental organizations and the authorities. Before new requirements are adopted, they are put out for public consultation.
